Who We Are

MBA is an architecture practice based in London, UK, since 1991 delivering successful imaginative solutions for sensitive buildings and sites. MBA applies principles of conservation, sustainability and listening to create new lively environments over a wide range of building types, energy efficient and popular in use. The practice specializes in difficult sites including inner city areas, Grade I Listed buildings and landscapes, Conservation Areas, Scheduled Ancient Monuments and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Built results are project-specific, well researched and sustainable. The practice carries out new build and alteration works.

In 2007 Stow&Beale Conservation Architects LLP was formed as the specialist conservation arm of MBA focusing on the repair and conservation of important historic buildings, monuments, gardens and heritage structures.

Clients include schools, colleges, institutions, land owning companies and individuals, mostly in the south of England, although we have operated in Scotland, Ireland, France and Romania.

Projects include new build and alterations: theatres, houses and housing, public gardens and urban design, offices, health care, and places of worship. Project sizes are typically in the range £250,000 - £7,000,000 construction cost. Masterplan and new build commercial projects are sometimes larger. We also provide a service for small works in Wimbledon London UK.

Languages: within the MBA team are fluent speakers of: Bengali, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Lithuanian and Russian.

MBA think laterally for successful built results, and assemble appropriately skilled construction teams and lead to deliver successful buildings with maximum professionalism, minimum fuss. Experienced in acoustics, joinery, and furniture design.
