Wimbledon School of Art - Foyer
The result dubbed ‘the light box’ is a three dimensional Mondriaan, a single storey space 7m high x 6 m wide x 13 m deep with shadows and reflections. A mature horse chestnut tree stands in front of the foyer giving screening and deciduous solar shading to an otherwise impossible glass facade.
