Social Space

As well as sleeping accommodation the design provides places for social interaction, formal and informal gatherings. These were clustered around new circulation spaces threaded between the existing and new accommodation. A key concern was to create a logical, easily navigable house layouts, with no dead-ends. As a result, there is plenty of opportunity for social interaction throughout the new houses. [more...]
