Christ Church Gardens
The Southwark bench was designed for this project.
It had to
be
- comfortable to sit on
- uncomfortable to sleep on
- difficult to damage or vandalise.
The resulting design is a heavy precast bench floating above the grass on galvanised steel legs.
London Borough Southwark have a licence to reproduce this bench for their own use. If you are interested in reproducing this bench design for another project contact MBA.
