Yvonne Howie initially trained as a interior designer, and worked on commercial, office and hotel interiors, before moving into facilities management. She retrained in architecture at Kingston university and over the past few years has built up a wide experience of social housing and small scale refurbishment projects. She is a farmer and specialises in difficult planning applications including agricultural and rural affordable housing.
