James Donlon is a job running architect responsible for a number of institutional, educational and housing projects, with a particular interest in socially and environmentally responsive design. James studied architecture at the universities of Birmingham, Sheffield and London, and had three years experience on housing and institutional projects for a major international practice, and a year working on housing/conservation projects, before joining MBA in 2006.
Key projects include:
- Bartlemas Housing, new Eco-housing for Oriel College, Oxford
- London School of Pharmacy, Library, Dean's office and internal alterations
- Max Roach Play Park, Lambeth
- Heythrop College, University of London, accessibility and lift projects
- Fordham University, London Dramatic Academy.
