Valentin achieved his Degree in Architecture from the University of East London in 2013. Before graduating, he won a competition to re-design a bookstore for Diverta – Romania’s largest bookstore chain.

He joined Marcus Beale Architects in 2013 and gained his Professional Diploma in 2017 from London Metropolitan University.

Valentin worked on multiple successful residential schemes, often within difficult and constrained sites. He is currently the project architect responsible for a number of residential schemes in SW London, currently under construction.

He worked on the Morris Garage alterations to Listed Buildings for New College Oxford. The project involved refurbishing student rooms and inserting new ensuite pods into the listed fabric. Valentin was also responsible for designing the new build element of the scheme, 3 no. fully accessible suites – a first amongst Oxford colleges. He is involved in other Conservation projects in the practice and is looking to achieve his AABC qualification in 2022.

Valentin is an Architectural Photographer. He is able to combine his passion for visual storytelling with his architectural background to best represent the designer’s intention. He was a finalist at the International Garden Photographer of the Year 12 (2019).
