Paola SannicandroBA (Hons) Arch, MArch, MSc, ARB, RIBA
Paola is a chartered architect particularly interested in conservation and rehabilitation of historic assets; she qualified in 2013 and has worked on preparing surveys, vulnerability assessments, guidelines and recommendations, design proposals for the conservation and interpretation of historic buildings in Italy, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Ethiopia, Philippines near or within UNESCO World Heritage Sites. She has worked at ICCROM on the World Heritage programme.
Paola holds a Masters Degree in Architecture from the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy and a Master Degree in Conservation of Historic Buildings at the University of Bath, United Kingdom.
She is currently interested in experimenting with the use of advanced survey techniques, as well as investigating the potential use of BIM in conservation projects.
